CAMPING WITH KANGAROOS
Murramarang national park in New South Wales is not just a superb area with its wide coastline and gum forest. Here the natural balance and harmony are resolved: it is inevitably obvious that the world and the nature does not belong to us, rather we belong to it.
Driving from Sydney to Murramarang is special pleasure. Like vast majority of Austrialian east coast, these green hills and beautiful coastline keep you amazed all three hour long journey.
The camping area is perfectly organized, clean, beautiful and very close to the beach, too. You can either come with caravan, pitch a tent or book a bungalow. Among camping facilites I mostly enjoyed availability of several BBQ grills surrounded by benches and tables, so your lunch or dinner is ready whenever you wish without excessive efforts. But, it is kangaroos, who make your camping experience special. They welcome you at their home and you are allowed to be their guest.
Though there are different breeds of kangaroos and not all of them are nice, some may be quite dangerous, these ones are friendly and curious middle-sized hoppers. They may come to explore your tent or let you hang out with them on the grass.
