This is nothing but salty Tuz Lake, second largest lake in Turkey.
The lake dries during the summer making it possible to literally walk on the water’s surface. We visited it in October when the weather was still nice, so we spent plenty of time walking on lake.
Not sure, whether because of salty evaporation or optical illusion, I felt ‘winged’ long after we departed.
Tired but happy we were headed towards Cappadocia…
